About this Resource

What is it?

NoveList™ is an online guide to fiction for readers of all ages. This database of over 300,000 fiction titles lets you use your favorite authors to link to other books you might enjoy. Search for a specific title, author, series, or subject or browse reading lists, author-read-alikes, award winners, book discussion guides and more!  Note: The NoveList database is linked to our Library Catalog, but it does display results which may not be available in Arlington.

How Does it Work?

Watch video tutorial

Uuse the Basic Search box at the top of each page to search for a title, author, series, or topic. When you use the default All radio button, NoveList will search for your terms in the full text of all NoveList content, including annotations, reviews, and proprietary content (articles or lists).

Get a more focused search by selecting the Author, Title or Series radio buttons. Browsable lists of recommendations for similar books and authors will be shown on the search result pages - to help find more titles of interest.

NoveList™ contains entries for many thousands of fiction titles published. Be sure to click "Check the Arlington Public Library Catalog" to verify the book's availability.
