What is a username and what is a PIN - how do I get one or update it?
A username is an optional feature. If you set one, your username will be your alias on hold slips and can also be used to log into your account in place of your card number. A username can be set, reset or removed from the "Change My Info" section of your online account. Usernames are case sensitive and must be between 6 and 25 characters (letters and number only, no special characters).
A PIN is a four-digit Personal Identification Number required for online account and self-check access. A PIN provides an additional level of security for your private account information. Your PIN can be set or reset online following the instructions on the My Account login screen, or from computer stations at the Library. When you request a new PIN, an email is sent to the email address on file. You must use the link in this email to complete the process.
