Arlington County has five community centers that offer a wide variety of 55+ programs and services for a steeply discounted membership fee. The Commission on Aging aims to enhance the quality of life for older Arlingtonians by ensuring all planning and County activities address their specific needs.

Local Arlington producer and host Cheryl Beversdorf interviews local experts who provide information on aging-related topics for older adults and their families. Radio shows are broadcast weekly on Arlington’s community radio station WERA-LP 96.7 FM; TV shows are available on local Comcast and Verizon cable channels.

Offers free support groups, webinars and lectures as well as fee-based exercise programs designed to promote a healthy lifestyle.
