Winter Reading: Books Like Us
Join this year's winter reading challenge, Books Like Us. From January 1,2021 through March 1, 2021 you are challenged to read books that give voice to diverse communities. Sign up for the challenge on Beanstack.
Challenge: A challenge is the age specific program that encompasses the entire program available this summer on Beanstack. This is the main summer reading challenge and it encompasses everything available on Beanstack. Patrons will complete activities to earn badges. Once they earn 5 badges, the challenge is complete.
Activity: Patrons can complete activities on Beanstack. One example is the activity to check out the Black Voices Booklists. Once they complete the activity, they earn the corresponding badge.
Badge: Patrons earn badges for activities completed in Beanstack. There are 10 badges in Beanstack this winter. 1 for Registration, 8 for activities, and 1 for Completion (completion happens after they have earned 5 activity badges).
