Virtual Kids Club: Fall 2020

Virtual Kids Club

Elementary-school aged kids in kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to partcipate in a fun weekly activity were we explore building, crafts, art, and books.

This 5 week program is asynchronous - you can take part whenever you have time! Each new activity released on Thursday does not require special materials and can completed at home together with your family.

This series' theme is Creative Construction, where we challenge you to think about and use everyday objects you have around your home in a new and different way.

Virtual Show and Tell

We want to hear from you! Have you created something from one of our activity guides?

You can submit a photo that shows off your finished project for a chance to be featured in that week's Virtual Show and Tell section.

To participate, submit your photo via our submission page here.

Submissions should be placed no later than 5pm on Thursday, December 3, 2020.

Virtual Kids Club Frequently Asked Questions

What does asynchronous mean?

An asynchronous library program is one where you participate when you want, instead of at a predetermined time. It can also be a program that you participate in over a long period of time, instead of in one compressed session.


How can I be notified when a new activity is added?

Register on the Library calendar, and you will receive an email each Thursday with links to each week’s new project.


Do I have to register on the Library Events Calendar to participate?

You do not have to register to participate, but only people who register will receive weekly email reminders.


Do I have to pick up materials from the library to participate in Virtual Kids Club activities?

No, Kids Club for Fall 2020 is designed so that you can participate using things that you already have at home, like toys, art supplies, and furniture.


How can I share what we have created from a particular activity?

Submit photos of your adventures for our Virtual Show and Tell using this form on the Library website.
