FAQs

Why can’t I find articles of a major news event?

Don't focus your dates too tightly - remember with historic news coverage was not as immediate as it is today. Confirm when an event actually took place, before searching for newspaper articles

How can I save just the article I want?

If you are in the Browse Issue mode, just clicking on an article will open it in a new window by itself. Then you can print an article from the Document view screen. Some may also be downloaded using the Acrobat Reader tools.

Why would I want a My Research account?

It's handy to save searches you want to run again. You can combine saved searches and re-run as a more precise new search.
